Valerie is Marvellous!!

As in a dream, an offer came knocking upon my front door to sell my property. I wasn’t ready, the time was wrong, the season seemed wrong, and I had no idea of how to proceed.

Fortunately a chum was able to point me toward one of the most ethical business persons I have ever dealt with – and luckily she was clothed as a shrewd real estate agent.

Valerie helped me through an interesting proposal, and when the logical conclusion, and the offer, expired it was with great confidence and a large measure of relief I requested Valerie to represent me as a Sellers’ Agent.

She quickly embarked upon the appropriate paperwork, paper trail, surveys, photographers, and in a dizzying few days there was a sign upon my corner, a photographic spread on the web, and a Doll House view which made me wonder why I was selling after all. 

To make the tale short for the time pressed … there was also a SOLD sticker on that sign very quickly. Valerie guided me through the process, the setting of a reasonable price, based upon an amazing array of graphs and charts, with no small amount of sooth-saying on my part. She lined up appointments, suitable in times of COVID replete with all the necessary wipes, masks, declarations and such, and we had an interesting evening of negotiation resulting in happy buyers and a delirious seller – all in four days.

Our house in Richmond sold in June 2017 by Valerie during a difficult time. The single house market had suffered from B.C. imposing a ‘foreign buyer tax’ in July 2016 and our original realtor could simply not do the job and was removed at the end of that year.

Valerie became our realtor at the beginning of 2017 and from the start we knew her approach was different. More professional, more dedicated to clients and most of all honesty. No more ‘sky’s the limit’ prices on evaluation. Just a realistic price to fit the market using size of lot, size of house, location and most important here was Valerie’s knowledge of the Richmond market and where our property fitted in.
